The Beach BOY grew up to the age of 82 ( plus a few months ). He left the land of the living on on June 11th, 2025 When the group was touring in the late 60s – early 70s, Brian Wilson was sometimes absent. His absence led to opportunities for fill-in Beach Boys. One of those was Glen Campbell. The image for the group was surfing, however neither Glen nor Brian did much surfing. In all of music of that era, Brian Wilson was at the top of the heap as a producer. The real surfer in the group was drummer Dennis Wilson who passed away much earlier at the age of 39. Dennis was buried at sea.

Am I talking about Fogerty or myself?

I do a little Disc Jockey kind of radio show in Shizuoka, Japan. It is really similar to what I did in the U.S. 40 or 50 years ago. I am so old that I am within 14 or 15 months of John Fogerty. His story is about getting back to the glory of Credence Clearwater Revival. Let’s look forward to the release in August.

They are recording artists working together somebody said for two years.

I asked Azuma-san to get a track from their album from APPLE music. Not available yet in Japan. So then, I ordered the CD on Amazon from the U.S., and delivery will be delayed. I have great enthusiasm for their work. Played a Shaggy hit almost twenty years ago on the air here in Shizuoka.

I worked at the Coca-Cola corporate complex in a low down position ( the mailroom ) some time back in the 80s. I love how the company does business beyond the actual product. My younger son in school in New York made a design that included that brand. In this video the brand inspires art students.
