Didn’t know him on any personal level but knew of him and that beat when I myself was in me teens. Gotta know Bo, gotta know Diddly.

Words
The word “words” doesn’t say much, but then it might if you know the song. Do you know the artists, Dolly and Barry? Each time I promise not to repeat a person or a source.
Acting Cannot Be Becoming That Other Person
When shooting the movie was over Jamie walked away as himself not RAY. However, if you watch the finished product, you see Ray even though you know it is Jamie Fox. It was an Academy Award performance.
About RAY rather than Jamie and copied from IMDB: The scene where Charles is met by a group of protesters outside the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia is a fabrication. Charles canceled his appearance after receiving a telegram from students at a local black college. The promoter successfully sued Charles for breach of contract, but he was never banned from the state of Georgia. When the Georgia state legislature honored Ray Charles in 1979, they didn’t apologized for banning him because he was never banned. In the commentary, it is stated that this event actually happened, but those who looked into Georgia’s legislature found no record that he was banned, just sued, and later they adopted as their state song “Georgia” – by Ray Charles.
TWO LADIES ( saw them back in 1980 )
Remember the premise is to portray people but too sources without repeating a person or a source. The source for this one is Kelly Clarkson. The persons would be Ann and Nancy Wilson who make the most recent group named Heart. Technically, there were other founding members in the beginning many years ago.

Les Paul
This video might be more personal than some can imagine.
I think Rock N Roller Steve Miller not only saw Les Paul perform when Steve was a child but also was a witness for the ceremony when Les married Mary Ford. The ceremony, again I think I recall, was in the home of Steve’s parents. My son and I saw Les play in New York a few months before he passed.
Just an Old Sweet Song
In my bad presentation for the Rotary Club a few years ago, I talked about Tennessee Waltz having been an early hit in both the U.S. and here in Japan. In discussions with my wife, we broadened our concepts of state songs to Georgia On My Mind after hearing Ray Charles. Then I found Peter Frampton as an instrumentalist. Unusual, unlikely?
