I have lived in Japan for a while, and it makes me sad when members of the U.S. military die because this particular aircraft was poorly conceived after many years and many millions spent. It is an airplane that can become a helicopter, but then it cannot. If ever again a crew is asked to fly the CV-22 Osprey and tilt the rotors in flight, a least two engineers from the manufacturer should be required to ride along.
I am a foreigner in Japan for more than 30 years. John makes the Only in Japan YOU TUBE channel, and the vid from him here makes the point that recently there are some who behave badly and make the good foreigners like me, by association, look not so good. Much of what he talks about is particular to Tokyo. I am in Shizuoka about an hour out by fast train.

I address only one small part of that story – the gun.
An Italian Carano M91/38 bolt-action rifle was used. Simple? Should Lee Harvey Oswald have used an AR-15 or an AK-47? He could not have because those were not available. From the Zapruder film over the years, it was proved that there were 3 bullets. There was a single bullet theory that did not seem plausible over the years but was thought to be the truth in the Warren Report.
Now all of you who think the 2nd Amendment should apply to AR-15s and AK-47s, I ask of you if the mass shooters of the last 10 or 12 years (school houses and church houses) had been limited to 3 rounds from a bolt action, would the 2nd Amendment still be intact and would hundreds of lives have been saved?
